This mixed use development for Clarion Housing Association and HG Construction is the gateway to the Alperton Regeneration Area. The scheme is for 251 homes located over 24 storeys, including a 2,000 sq m supermarket, 620 sq m of ofﬁces and a 640 sq m cafe.
The building was designed to be read as three linear volumes that were joined with perpendicular connecting volumes. This helps to break down the total volume of the proposal but also highlights the entrances into the development. Included in the design are a number of roof terraces and child play spaces for all residents.
The development is a complex mixed use building including two levels of basement in close proximity to the Grand Union Canal. The Workstage 4 design has been delivered to BIM Level 2.
The building is nearing completion and due to be handed over later this year.
