The development brings back into use a longstanding blot on the landscape of Greyhound Lane. The existing property has been subject to an unregulated use, trespassers and antisocial behaviour. This is being transformed through the redevelopment. The project includes the partial retention of the existing buildings and introduction of new build elements to complete the curban block.
At ground floor a Sainsburys Local is being fitted out and will be let on a long term basis. The retail space extends across the footprint of three former units. Above the retail space are 14 residential dwellings which are arranged around and overlook a communal podium courtyard.
