The scheme has been developed for Family Mosaic and provides a new church and  23 dwellings comprising of one, two and three bed flats – 18 for private sale and five for social housing provider Family Mosaic.
Rydon Construction secured the tender for the scheme and invited us to deliver the construction drawings. The project is in brick, and the colour and materials seamlessly integrate with the period brick features of the neighbouring streets and terraces of Bermondsey.
The building has a primary brick form that four storeys in height and a set-back glass clad fourth floor. Above this is a roof terrace at fifth floor accessed via a staircase and a retractable glazed roof light. The roof terrace provides panoramic views of London’s skyline including The Shard, and was featured on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.
